2nd Baldock Scouts is run entirely by volunteers and we are always looking for more support.
For Adult Volunteers we are looking for support in the following areas:
- People who can come into Beavers, Cubs and Scouts to share their skills either one-off or on a regular basis
- People to support our committee with areas like finance, insurance, fundraising
- People who could assist with handy skills – like repairing equipment etc.
For all Adult Roles (except one of the visits) full training is provided:
- Online Safeguarding & Safety Training (renewed after 3 years)
- GDPR Training
- Additional Training for the role is available
- A full Scout DBS will be carried out as well.
For Youth Volunteers (14 to 18) we are looking for support in the following areas:
- DofE Volunteering – we can support Bronze, Silver, and Gold Volunteering with opportunities and challenges as well as learning new skills.
For Youth Roles an evening Safeguarding Training is required.
