30th to 31st May.

Our Scouts will be having a whole weekend away camping and spending time on the water.

Day 1

Scouts will be learning the basics of sailing and getting out on the water. Some will be new to this but some are now seasoned sailors who will help our younger and newer Scouting members.

In the evening, Scouts will be cooking and camping overnight.

Day 2

We will be packing the sails away and Scouts will be taking on 2 paddle sports activities before it’s time to pack up and head home.

Camping and spending time away from home is a great way to build the confidence of our young people. It promotes self development and pushes personal boundaries which allows our young people to do more in the future.

We promote and provide #SkillsForLife and we could not do it without the support of donations and volunteers. Everyone who runs 2nd Baldock Scouts is a volunteer, giving up their own free time to help young people in the local area fulfil their dreams and meet their potential.
